The Nightshift publishes direct links to the world’s greatest English language newspapers to facilitate research and encourage understanding of the world’s events of the day as well as provide resources to follow certain segments of sports, business, society, art, and weather. Added today, famed international news service Reuters.

Special notice to Shepard Smith, the Fox News Anchor who unexpectedly resigned from the network yesterday. Shepard was perhaps the lone voice of reason among a newsroom of TV personalities who consistently put opinions in front of facts. Smith is a journalist who believes in the facts. His departure leaves us with this one key takeaway: there are still those in powerful positions who believe in excellent journalism and freedom of speech. Thank you, Shep.

Today is  National Train Your Brain Day (good idea to participate) and also Clergy Appreciation Day (also a good idea to participate…). Hop to it.

Now…to the links

The Nightshift is a continually evolving experiment in news communications and is a production of Perception Engineering and The Media Bunker.  We are still battling technical issues from the 31 December 2018 meltdown of our hosting server, but the Media Bunker crew will get it sorted….The Nightshift is rapid iteration within a surprisingly wide bandwidth. Thanks for reading. Now–catch up on the world .
