The Archie Chronicles: Growing up semi-Royal
Today, one of our semi-famous Fact Stacks on the couple previously know as HRH The Duke and Duchess of Sussex. It’s been hard to escape this “we’re not really that interested in it ” drama, as it’s being force fed to the world via the media, which never met a royal scandal it didn’t like. It’s either H&M or the Trump impeachment as both are acting as super soakers for media coverage. One is, of course, tremendously more important than the other and it’s hard to escape the feeling that H&M’s exit from The Firm is a bit like kids saying I am going on my own but you may have to support us with millions for a few years while we get our feet under us. So…above a brief primer on the Current Saga of Harry & Meghan, destined perhaps to be the 21st century of equivalent of the long-gone and not-lamented (even in his own family) Duke and Duchess of Windsor. We shall see. A longer op-ed on H&M will be posted on donaldpierce.com Friday.
