The Nightshift publishes direct links to the world’s greatest English language newspapers to facilitate research and encourage understanding of the world’s events of the day as well as provide resources to follow certain segments of sports, business, society, art, and weather. Admittedly, there may be bigger, earth shattering stories than the death of Carl Reiner, who is the lead article in today’s edition of The Nightshift, but let’s face it: you can get that someplace else today. We lead with Reiner because of the genius he had for comedy and the laughs he brought to all of us. And no photo tribute of Reiner would be complete without a reference to his good and great buddy, Mel Brooks. So, above, Brooks(left) and Reiner (right) on stage, where they were as comfortable together as can possibly be.
Our other site, donaldpierce.com is online and posting on peer reviewed COVID-19 research, finance, music, entertainment, sports, travel, design, medicine and whatever….check it out. Also, the playlist for June 2020 is at the bottom of the newspaper links; just click the button and our friends at Spotify will take care of the rest. Music is added to (and deleted from) the playlist everyday. Enjoy.
